The poster discusses plasma and CSF data collected with our TrueDiscovery™ platform in collaboration with The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in plasma.
Out of the almost 6,000 proteins identified in CSF and more than 3,000 in plasma from young healthy control subjects, patients with mild cognitive impairment, age-matched healthy controls, and Alzheimer’s patients, we were able to generate a comprehensive and quantitative map of proteomes linked to healthy and pathological aging. The role of the Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) proteome as a crucial indicator in melanoma progression has long been recognized, but their potential as viable clinical biomarkers has remained relatively unexplored. Moreover, most proteomic techniques are incompatible with characterizing the EVs proteome due to its wide range of protein concentrations.
In a collaborative effort with the University of Zurich, the Université de Fribourg – Universität Freiburg, and Stanford University, we have successfully devised a workflow for isolating blood-derived exosomes and profiling their proteome content using our cutting-edge TrueDiscovery® platform.
Explore the comprehensive workflow for analyzing EVs as potential biomarkers in melanoma progression in our poster.

We describe a first-of-its-kind study using multi-omics biomarker approaches to demonstrate pharmacodynamic effects and immune modulation in pancreatic cancer. Biognosys’ proprietary platform for unbiased proteomics, TrueDiscovery™, allowed the identification of pharmacodynamic markers and elucidated the mechanism of action of therapies under clinical investigation.
